From The President

Welcome to the Beta Chapter of Kappa Theta Pi, Pitt's first co-ed professional technology fraternity!

Kappa Theta Pi offers growth and exploration in all aspects of college life. Whether it's a tech talk from a local company, alumni networking, study hours, or group ski trips, KTP offers the resources and opportunities for those with a love of technology to strive to be their best. We accept all undergraduate students regardless of major or year and stand for inclusivity and diversity at every stage of the professional journey.

Throughout my time at Pitt, KTP has shaped my college experience in the best ways possible. Without it, I would never have met some of my closest friends and classmates or made the connections that pushed me to be the best I can be. I encourage you to explore our website and learn more about what our brotherhood has to offer!

Sincerely,

Connor Reger
President, 2026

History

Since our founding, Kappa Theta Pi at Pitt has grown into a thriving chapter focused on developing technical leaders and supporting one another through academics and professional growth.

From our early pledge classes to the current brothers, our history is defined by collaboration, resilience, and a commitment to service. We honor the traditions that shaped us while adapting to meet the needs of today's students.

DEI Commitment

We believe a strong chapter is one that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. KTP is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all members feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Our DEI initiatives include outreach to underrepresented groups in tech, inclusive recruitment practices, and programming that centers diverse perspectives. We continually evaluate our practices to ensure equity in leadership, opportunities, and access.
